Q: Are your pieces microwave/dishwasher safe?
A: Yes. All functional items are made with stoneware which is vitrified through firing.
Q: Are your pieces food safe?
A: Yes, although there are no food safe certificates for handmade pottery. We have used all our own products for years.
Q: How do you calculate postage for Australian deliveries?
A: We use Sendle by default who calculate the shipping to your address automatically. Sendle calculate costs based on the weight of your order, and your address. See also the FAQ on why delivery charges may be high.
Q: Why are the delivery charges so high?
A: We currently use Sendle as our default courier because this is the only option on Shopify if we want delivery costs automatically calculated for our customers. We do this because it typically offers the best price however Sendle are not always the best for remote areas, international, or heavier orders. We are happy to change to another courier if you know of cheaper rates to your address (or we can look this up for you). Please get in touch prior to purchasing at email@example.com
Q: Do you post internationally?
A: Yes we do. You should also read the FAQ on "Why are delivery charges so high?". We use Sendle by default however Australia Post is often better for international shipping. Please contact me directly for a quote.
Q: Can I collect my purchases from your studio?
A: Yes. Collections are available with advance notice. Collections can be made on Mondays between 9am to 7pm.
Q: May I place a direct order?
A: Yes. Please contact me directly to discuss your order and I'll be able to give you an estimate and idea of timing.
Q: Do you wholesale to retail outlets, galleries or cafes?
A: Yes. Please contact me directly if you'd like to discuss wholesaling.
Q: Do you teach pottery?
A: No, not currently. It is definitely something I plan to get back into so keep in touch if you are interested.
